Traveller reviews
Aspendos was the reason we booked and it didnt disappoint. The theatre is huge in person.
We took my parents on this one and it suited them well because the transport was comfortable and the stops were varied. Aspendos felt impressive even before the guide started speaking. Lunch was relaxed, and nobody pushed us through the ruins too quickly. It felt like a proper cultural day rather than just a photo stop tour.
The waterfall stop was pretty but crowded. The ancient sites were the stronger part of the day.
Our guide used old photos to explain the ruins, which helped us picture the places properly.
Aspendos was the reason I booked this tour, and it was even better in person. The theatre is huge, and our guide explained the acoustics and history in a way that made it easy to imagine how it was used. Side ruins were also more interesting with context. The waterfall was a pleasant final stop, though the ancient sites were the real highlight.
The guide was calm and knowledgeable. He answered questions without making it feel like school.
