Right now the sea is around 21°C with high crowds — Reliable sunshine, sea warming up. Excellent all-round touring weather.. About staying in Antalya City Center: Antalya's city centre blends a 2,000-year-old harbour quarter with a modern Mediterranean metropolis. Its heart is Kaleiçi, the walled old town of Ottoman houses, Roman gates and a yacht-filled marina, all framed by the Beydağları mountains. Nearby you'll find Hadrian's Gate, Kaleiçi Old Town, Yivli Minaret. Antalya Airport (AYT) sits about 13 km east of the city centre, roughly a 20-minute drive. The city is the transport hub for the whole coast, with a tram through the centre and bus links to every resort town. From our guides on the ground: A calmer, scenery-led boat day on the emerald Oymapınar reservoir rather than open sea, so the water is flat and good for nervous swimmers. We cruise the 14 km canyon with swimming breaks in cool, clear green water — it's noticeably colder than the sea, which is refreshing in high summer. Bring a towel, sunscreen and a light cover-up for the shaded sections. Photography is excellent throughout. Best for couples, families and anyone wanting nature over nightlife.

Yivli Minaret — The fluted 13th-century Seljuk minaret that is the symbol of Antalya, beside a former mosque complex. Local tips
• Kaleiçi is steep and cobbled — wear comfortable shoes and explore on foot. • Visit the Antalya Museum early; it pairs well with a morning before the midday heat. • Take a short harbour boat trip from Kaleiçi marina to see the cliffs and Lower Düden falls from the sea.

Traveller reviews
Pickup route took time because of other hotels, but the canyon itself was worth seeing.
Nice day for couples. Less noise, more scenery, and enough time to just sit and look around.
The lake felt peaceful even with other boats around. We came back properly relaxed.
The pickup route took longer than we expected because there were several hotels, but the canyon itself was worth the slow start. The lake color is beautiful, especially in the narrower sections. Lunch was simple, and shaded seats on the boat filled quickly. I would still recommend it for a calmer nature day.
Good value nature trip. Bring a towel if you plan to swim.
My wife gets tired of busy excursions, and this was the one she enjoyed most. There was time to sit, swim, take photos, and actually relax without being pushed into activities. The guide gave a little information but mostly let the scenery do the work. It was exactly what we needed mid-holiday.
